Around 10 species make up the Miltonia genus and can be
found in the lo to moderate altitudes of Brazil.  The best
conditions for these plants are high humidity and low to
medium light.  Watering should be regular and heavy
during growing periods but reduced after flowering.
Species with long-winded growth habits are best grown
on a slab or in a large shallow pan or basket.
Standard pots are just fine with the remaining species.
