Vanda orchids are one of the more popular genera of the orchid family and are typically found in India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia, Guadalcanal Islands, China, and the Philippines.  

Comprising of around 40 species, Vanda orchids grow from sea level up to about 6,700 feet and grow the best in pots or wooden baskets. Vanda prefer year round watering and thrive in bright light.
